PVD FINISH CARE
PVD Finish Care & Maintenance
JUSTIME PVD finishes offer refined colors and distinctive surface textures. Proper cleaning and regular maintenance help preserve their appearance and minimize the risk of surface damage caused by improper care.
IMPORTANT CARE NOTICE
To prevent potential surface damage, do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents, or "no-rinse" cleaning products.
We strongly recommend following the appropriate cleaning instructions for each JUSTIME finish to help maintain its appearance and quality.
01 / DAILY PRECAUTIONS
Daily Care & Precautions
- Use a Soft Cloth: Gently wipe the surface with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with clean water and dry the surface immediately.
- Avoid Abrasive Materials: Do not use rough scrub pads, steel wool, wire brushes, or abrasive cleaning materials that may scratch the surface finish.
- Avoid Strong Acids and Alkalis: Strongly acidic, alkaline, or corrosive cleaners may damage the surface coating.
- Prevent Scratches: Avoid contact with sharp or hard objects that may scratch or damage the finish.
- Avoid Excessive Heat: Do not expose the product to unusually high temperatures for extended periods.
- Avoid Chemical Exposure: Perfumes, aggressive cleaning agents, and other potentially corrosive substances may affect the surface finish.
02 / CLEANING METHOD
Recommended Cleaning Procedure
For routine care, use a clean, soft cloth and water. Certain special PVD finishes may permit cleaning with 70%–75% alcohol, provided this method is specifically approved for the product's surface treatment.
- Confirm Material Compatibility: For PVD finishes specifically approved for alcohol cleaning, use 70%–75% alcohol and a clean, soft cloth. Do not apply alcohol to finishes without confirmed compatibility.
- Clean Gently: Lightly dampen the soft cloth with the approved cleaning solution and gently wipe the faucet surface. Avoid excessive rubbing or prolonged soaking.
- Remove Residue and Dry: Follow the product-specific instructions for removing cleaning residue, then wipe the surface dry with a clean, soft cloth.
CARE REMINDER
