TOILET SPRAY
From ancient traditions to modern daily life, the water ladle has long been a familiar household washing utensil. Inspired by this enduring cultural object, the JUSTIME design team reinterprets its recognizable silhouette through a contemporary design perspective. By transforming the image of a traditional water ladle into a refined toilet spray, the design preserves a meaningful connection with the past while introducing a fresh expression for modern bathroom spaces.
The design brings together classic cultural inspiration and elegant contemporary details. A rounded handle form, combined with brass and ceramic materials, creates a distinctive contrast between metallic refinement and the gentle character of ceramic. Its familiar yet refreshed appearance evokes memories of traditional living, inviting different generations to appreciate the beauty of everyday objects through a modern interpretation.
Beyond its expressive appearance, the toilet spray incorporates practical features for everyday use. Two spray configurations are available to accommodate different operating preferences. The push-button control allows water flow to be activated and stopped with a simple finger movement. A thoughtfully designed semicircular holder works together with the spray's neck to provide a secure resting position. By combining a tilted holder with a carefully shaped neck, the spray is designed to be removed at an angle, helping reduce accidental dislodgement while keeping the holder convenient to use.
Inspired by the familiar form of a traditional water ladle, the design brings cultural memories into contemporary bathroom living, creating a connection between heritage and modern aesthetics.
The rounded handle combines brass and ceramic elements, balancing the refined appearance of metal with the timeless character of ceramic for a distinctive, elegant visual expression.
Designed for convenient operation, the spray allows users to control water flow with a finger-operated button. Pressing the control activates or stops the flow, providing a straightforward everyday operating experience.
A semicircular holder and specially shaped spray neck are designed to work together. The angled placement helps keep the spray securely positioned while allowing it to be removed with a deliberate angled movement, reducing the chance of accidental slipping.
