JUSTIME Joins the "Made in Taiwan" Cross-Industry Genesis Project
Supported by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), the "Made in Taiwan" Cross-Industry Genesis Project brings together professionals from art, design, and manufacturing to encourage creative collaboration and strengthen the international presence of Taiwanese products.
The first initiative centered on JUSTIME, a Taiwanese bathroom design brand, inviting professionals from different creative fields to explore new possibilities in bathroom product design through the exchange of ideas and expertise.
01 / PROJECT BACKGROUND
Connecting Art, Design, and Manufacturing
Organized by Kuan Ju Interior Design with guidance from Aesthetic Tribes, the project created opportunities for design professionals to exchange ideas and develop fresh perspectives on bathroom accessories.
Through a series of project seminars and collaborative discussions, participating designers were encouraged to challenge conventional approaches, explore innovative concepts, and bring diverse aesthetic viewpoints into the development of everyday bathroom products.
02 / BRAND & CRAFTSMANSHIP
JUSTIME — Taiwanese Craftsmanship Meets Design
Established in the Dingfanpo area of Lukang, Taiwan, Sheng Tai Brassware Co., Ltd. developed JUSTIME as its own bathroom product brand, combining manufacturing expertise with an appreciation for art and aesthetics.
With a commitment to quality, functionality, and original design, JUSTIME has built an international reputation through its distinctive product collections.
The brand's designs have received recognition through renowned international design awards, including the iF DESIGN AWARD, Red Dot Design Award, and GOOD DESIGN AWARD, reflecting the integration of technical expertise and contemporary design thinking.
03 / INDUSTRY COLLABORATION
Building a Stronger Bathroom Manufacturing Ecosystem
According to Jin-ji Pan, Chairman of Sheng Tai Brassware, government-supported initiatives over the preceding two years had encouraged water-plumbing specialists and bathroom equipment manufacturers to strengthen cooperation across the industry.
By bringing together expertise from different manufacturing and design disciplines, the industry can build a more connected ecosystem, exchange professional knowledge, and respond more effectively to the evolving needs of consumers.
04 / CREATIVE COLLABORATION
19 Designers, 15 Studios, New Possibilities
The first JUSTIME Genesis Project invited 19 interior designers representing 15 design studios to participate in a creative design competition.
To support their creative development, JUSTIME provided opportunities to learn about professional manufacturing techniques, product design considerations, industrial design principles, and aesthetic concepts.
DESIGN EXPLORATION
Inspired by the YES and Nature Series
Using JUSTIME's YES and Nature faucet collections as a starting point, participating designers explored fresh interpretations of bathroom accessories through their individual creative perspectives.
The collaboration brought together manufacturing knowledge and design creativity, encouraging new ideas for products that combine aesthetics, practicality, and originality.
